Joined by the voice of the immortal black cat Thackery Binx, played by Jason Marsden, Thora Birch (Dani), Omri Katz (Max), and Vinessa Shaw (Allison) will reunite for Halloween events in Salem from Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20-21.
The cast recently shared a video message on their personal Instagram pages, saying the upcoming reunion is “not a joke.”
“In case you couldn’t understand any of what we said with us talking over each other, all you have to know is…WE ARE GONNA BE IN SALEM!” Shaw wrote in a joint Instagram post with Katz. “Omri, Thora, Jason and I are excited to be coming back to Salem to be together for the first time in 30 years. What??!!”
The cast will gather for a costume bash at Bit Bar, an old-school arcade that serves craft beer and eats on 278 Derby St, on Friday from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The four actors will also take autographs and photos at Salem Common on Saturday from noon to 7 p.m.
While the original cast members did not make a cameo in "Hocus Pocus 2," which was released on Disney+ on Sept. 30, fans hope they make an appearance in "Hocus Pocus 3."
"We want to see you in 'Hocus Pocus 3!' Wish I could see you all!" one Instagram user commented.
The third film is currently in development, according to a New York Times interview with Sean Bailey, President of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production.
